2013-05-16-mt-scott

Finally added my photos from a ski tour in May to my regular gallery. I didn't ski much getting ready to go to Georgia but I did one quick trip up Mt Scott. I found there had been a sizable avalanche in the past winter within the larger obvious SE path often skied down so 7 of the 12 photos are of the avalanche path and area. I believe the larger path is from the mid 1980's so that some of the trees destroyed this past winter were around 25 years old.

It was a cloudy day, with progressively less higher elevation visibility as I returned. So I did not get many photos of a more panoramic nature. I need a decent resolution one for a route sheet I have mostly prepared.
