Most years I've tried to do a late season climb of Mt Washington and/or Three Finger Jack (3fj) and haul off all the old and unnecessary webbing and hardware. Each peak has one spot where webbing is essential to rappel but people leave more in all kinds of other places. This is worse on Washington and I've climbed it more as a clean-up. I planned to do both so I began with 3fj, but one of my knees was seriously bothering me afterwards so I didn't get Washington in. (A couple beers and a large dose of Ibuprofen improved it greatly by morning, but it wasn't up to another climb.) The climb was very nice, great weather and views. We'd had early snow in October so I didn't think I'd get this in, but a combination of sunny days and storms with very high rain/snow levels left it mostly snow free.

I'm sad to report than Papandreas in the town of Sisters seems to have gone out of business. A giant calzone and a beer there was a tradition for many years, going back to the first of the Oregon Mountaineering Association fall climbs.
