This area has many runs which are referred
to by name as at a ski resort, but the photos are not labelled that
way since I don't remember the names. I'm just not used to this
in the backcountry I guess. |

This small slope across from the
Chalet is used by Al as an "indicator slope" since it
often slides early when there is any hazard. One of our group members
who insisted on traveling around alone and didn't impress anyone
with their avalanche aptitude made these tracks right across it. |
