The Mud Pit

After the water crossing and a break for lunch the course continued along the link river trail (an unpaved but well graded carriage road closed to traffic) back to Veterans Park on Lake Euwana. Here they encountered the final event - the mud pit. This varies a lot from race to race and year to year, this one was not too difficult and I don't believe any of them had any real problem with it.
