Union Peak Trail (1)

After an approach that is mostly pretty flat the trail begins to climb when it reaches the base of the peak. Most of the elevation gain is over a short distance at the end where it gets steep. This photo shows a steep but good section of trail, looking upward towards Roger and Helene.
